Have a tank general move up the right side to the objective at the top of the map, while your main forces attack the first objective and defend.

WC3 is probably harder if you are relying on underdeveloped ECs to win campaigns. BTW, what is the Far East Campaign about? I forgot this campaign after months of not playing WC3.

It's a coalition strike of the Soviets, Mongolia and China at Japan in Manchuria and a bit of Siberia It's the mission where Zukov is one of the objectives, he is on a tank and dies quickly. And Japan usually paratroops onto your only Oil rig if the city with Terauchi is not captured.

Anyways, this is a mostly dead thread by now. Here's a link to the thread containing a video guide to the campaign for those who may need help here: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/3074/allies-8-far-east-campaign

Got a rather simple method to complete this level. Eliminate Hata and the other artillery and capture Changchun. Then after eliminating heavy tank, while continuously spamming motorized infantry in Changchun capture the oilfields of far east. Terauchi will capture that oilfield. Take him down with your artillery and it will be easy to capture Harbin. Spam more motorized infantry and capture the city in north, knocking down Okamura in the process with your artillery. You could have used Badogilo, but I guess you were too busy doing other things to even CARE about him. Still, you might have set off a gold mine.

I had decided before playing the game, not to use Badoglio and make my EC generals to make it more challenging for me. Also I had +10 gold output. I built that monument (can't remember the name).

1. Fair point. On that note, the best generals you can get in that field are Student and Crerar.
2. A literal gold mine, nice.

This one's a bit tricky if you dont have firepower. It is a complex mess of falling back and counterattacking. I used Badoglio, and later Govorov for the higher difficulties, but here's what I got from it. Put cheap infantry on your oilfield in the south, bc as soon as Changchun is captured, the Japanese paratroops onto it. Changchun is more or less easy. If you can, start mass producing commando units out of that city. If you do that, you should be able to distract Okamura, Itagaki, and Hata from your arty general. Then churn through Harbin, and the other city to get to Khabarovsk. I usually dont worry abt the coastline bc nothing happens there, and Zhang L.F., even though he isnt the best arty general, can still hold off the Japanese attacking the Soviet. Of course this does create the most casualties, instead of flanking along the coastline, but that is also a one-way thicket of losing Changchun. You usually wont win this without good arty.

Ehmm im guessing u are an Italian main player but... why not Messe, Badoglio or Graziani? For Inf general well u can always use Sansonetti for it.... but still get some new general like Guderian, Govorov, Patton, Mannerheim/Vasilevsky, etc
