This level is pretty challenging due to the sheer number of allied forces (mostly Australians) who make this level pretty hard to play
Anyways here's the method I found that can be useful;
A) The Defense; 1) combine both army groups you have (near the city and in the city) to form a huge army
2) dig defenses like gun bunkers and forts to have added effect.
3) there will be a huge attack by the Brits supported by the Australians so keep healing units if possible. This is the most tiresome part.
B) The Western Offensive 1) take all the survivors and start raiding the British cities. This gas to be done fast by surrounding enemies and then killing them instantly.
2) slowly reach Adelaide (Ignore the British city west of it for now) and put whatever you have against the city.
3) now send fast paced infantries to Melbourne to kill Blamey and get the city, meanwhile put some men to take the ports, if auchinleck comes from the Eastern city make a unit for the city every turn.
4) once Melbourne is taken make some forts on the coast and put infantries on them to take the port
C) The Eastern Offensive; 1) there's a city just South of yours that has a heavy tank on it, send some men from your HQ city to take it. (This city can be called E1)
2) From E1 make some infantries and send them to Sydney , the Americans are usually killed by your ally so taking this city isn't a problem.
3) always guard your HQ city.
Some more information; Grace will attack Melbourne regularly so some big cannons there if income permits can be a life saver.
Americans will never attack.
Ignore Canberra completely.

I did it! However, my strategy had some changes. NO DEFENCE, all offense! Defending in missions I usually a edge of turns, such as in this one. Leave some army in E1, while rest attack. Leave on of the long range artillery to defend ONLY take the British city argue top left of the map, DO NOT take the one at the middle, if you take that one, the other British General will come to Adelaide, and it's a pain the arse. When you take the lv 1 Australian airport at the middle of the map, it's time to build some motorized infantry to attack the Australian city just south of E1. When you take that Australian city, immediately turn your head to Sydney, ignore Clark, go straight to the city and the factory. From Adelaide, simply go next to Melbourne. Build some long range artillery to bomb the port, and always leave a unit ready to take the port. Use the army in Melbourne to take the port That's pretty much what I did, good luck everyone (PS: Napoleon Bonaparte , tips for battle of Imphal?)

Yes ignore Canberra. Leave my home alone. Good guide by the way Napoleon Bonaparte . Definitely one of the hardest missions. I don't know while doing it felt so, but after it it was just Meh like standard mission... For me it was very hard I had a one star commander and only very small amounts of HQ upgrades and that was it. Both GoG games have missions that are stupidly hard designed for you to go "This is too hard I'll just go spend $50 on the best generals to make it easier." Its a shame because GoG would be amazing without this money grabbing crap.
