Ugh. Why invade Australia as the Japanese in 5 weeks when you can just deter the invasion in just under 3 weeks as Halsey Jr?

You know the Invasion of Australia where you have to invade Australia which is VERY hard to do, doing the same campaign in Legion Mode as Halsey is WAY easier than campaign mode. Get my point now? |

Can I apply your strategy for the first 10-15 turns of the game and then apply NotU's suggestion for the rest of the campaign? |

I tried to complete it, but the Australian artillery and tanks and Wavell & Co made it very hard for me, only being able to take Melbourne by turn 30.
By then, I had lost E1, only for Nanbu's [sic] troops to take it over at the end of the campaign.US I do anything with my commander at HQ?
Do I have to use an upgrade? (I'm a LTC, with a level 1 infantry and air force and a level 2 financial centre)
