Well I read the guide even here and around the internet and combined all of those to do the level but I get stuck because of those ottomans and there massive men, the generals are overpowered (except for a few, especially the artillery one) the least I do is to kill joseph bonaparte and the north italian general and save zagreb and munich but I dont get the logic, (russians let everyone die, even the fort near iasi).

First of all I have also tried 4 to 5 times before I can get a 5-star win
And I paid and so I can muster 6 generals in total. I cannot imagine how to win this campaign with only 4 generals...
I do not care about the Italian forces, and so I only build new troops to stop them from taking the key cities. I send all the generals to fight the Turks in the east and capture Debrecen before morale falls. (I ignore those Turks in the south)
After that it's a hard battle as I struggle to take Belgrade and Clujnapoca... I am just lucky enough to be able to capture Iasi at the very last round. Isabella plays a key role because she can move from Clujnapoca to Isai very smoothly.
Oh yes, and I suggest you train Isabella to 4- or 5- star arty general. It helps a lot.

Thanks longstreet, well I have got 4 stars on this one, did it by getting iasi in the start by fooling russians and then getting the target cities (I defended zagreb and munich very lightly, and the generals were busy with the ottomans).

I beat this mission quite easily with 3 generals. I used Kate on light artillery to defend Munich for a few turns, Sophia on heavy artillery to capture Debrecen, and Fatimah in Vienna for income. This mission is just a really fast speed mission. First, capture Debrecen with your units while Radetzky captures Belgrade. Send 2 or 3 units to the Russians and take their town/factory so that you can defend them. After capturing Belgrade Radetzky defends it with the other general they give you. His name might be Archdale J. I can't remember. Your troops that captured Debrecen capture the final objective. This should take you 10 -11 rounds.

This mission sucks, man. The Russians can't hold their own, even though they should, and the idea of breaking through the Ottoman lines before turn 11 is ludicrous. I honestly wouldn't care if it was extremely challenging, but it's just that the Russians are too weak and the Ottomans have to much fire power.
I just got to this, by the way, for my first time. I've never really done campaign.

Here some strat which may help you with this episode;
- I send archduke j. directly to Munich. Light art. near munich helps alot with deal dmg to infantries. You may need 2 formation line inf after 6-7 rounds because italians wave gets harder that time.
- Keep Radetzky few turns in Zagreb. Ottoman's attack generally with few troops few rounds till 1st wave is over. by the time italians troops will come to attack from the sea so generally (if you go for 5star) Radetzky keep fight there.
- Use your best Art. Gen in heavy art. in Pest. Ottomans are gonna charge to Iasi so mostly weak troops and 1 Ottoman inf+ art general will stand around near Belgrade.
-2 formation heavy cav in Bratislava will be your deadly weapon so second gen will be cav gen. You must be aggrasive whey ottomans generals attack to iasi. They really return fast for capture back their towns. First your goal must take Belgrade so art gen+cav gen attack.
- whenever you capture Belgrade, create a heavy or light art. but prefably heavy art. and here we go 3. Gen on art.after capture Belgrade, you need to be fast and kill inf+art Ottoman's general asap.while you kill them, few troops will come from south and north(debrecen). Time to take debrecen with your troops which located near bratislava and 1 form light cav(near bratislava and north of bratislava)
-and now the hard part begins,defending... use your resources wisely so you will have 3 cities to defend so you will need to some resources from the begining so my advice is improve munich and Zagreb then after bratislava.
Hope it will help you in your campaign.

Well i finish this map at round 7 for 2nd try after the 1st failed when i didnt notice the town of Russian being captured. Mine is simple.1st put 2-3 troop at Munich and Zagreb and just let them attack.2nd moving all other troop take belgrade and clujnapoca, destroy ONLY necessary troop to minimize damage. I manage to win when there are still thousand of troop around . However this only recommended when you have Sophia,Kate,Sulkowski and a normal infantry (mine is Fraquemont which is *Auto Corrected*) or equivalent

I managed to get 3 stars on my first try using Kate, Sulkowski, Golitsyn and Sophia.I didn't send any generals to fight the italians.I think i can get five stars pretty easily, so I'm going to try again.

So here is V1.0 of my guide how to speedrun / walkthrough EW4 - I'd like to discuss.
I will explain the puzzle of the mission HRE - Austro Turkish War
Basic gameplay; - I only use princess! - Medals only for Items (if you have ALL you want - you may start with trainers - first Fatima on 5βtrade)
mission:
11 Rounds - handy to find the puzzle: finish with 3 princess in Round 6!
I'm sure: there is always this Princess-Puzzle: a robust walkthrough for 3 actual princess (healthy but untrained with items) in half rounds.
Objectives: - Defend Munic - Defend Zagreb - Defend IASI - not your job but maybe you must Help ?
- Conquest Beograd - Conquest Cunjapoca
- Economy looks easy (Lot resources at start + Trading available)
- Check the Mission Generals (The will be important to solve the puzzle - Here we have 2)
- Your Team: We are in the beginning of HRE campaign so you will have Sophia, Fatima and Maria (I never joined Maria, I have to use lastslot Victoria - I keep this in mind: she will be used slow and won't attack - and she just joined - so Maria will be fitter.
Find the Units! There will be the units for 3 princess - if you don't find three - it's maybe a 2 princess run(rare) or you will put the third on an Unit you have to build first - if you are not sure which one is the correct one: think about the extra mobility with princess and Item to choose the right one.
In this mission: - Sophia - no doubt is on the only one Heavy Art available. With movement Items we move her south and can directly, after employing potent powder (from the shop the day you get Sophia!) give a first hello to Bucharest in R1. Next round She will cross the river NE - and you probably will fire once again on Bucharest but don't kill the unit before R3.
- Fatima: In 4 of 5 Missions she has her exclusive Light Infantry three hex away from the biggest city or trading Post. Here we have two light units: she won't go on Munic (we will delay the attack there so until Round 6 there will be no enemy directly in front of the City! She starts in Buda - Upgrade Buda - move her to the stable and Upgrade - In round 2 we move her, after the last upgrade of the Stable, to the trading Spot in Zagreb - she will stay there until the end
- Maria/Vic - we have her double Guard close to Bratislava - we see with 3hex moves she can take Beograd in round 3 - she won't attack - she just has to survive 3 rounds in Beograd
The generals: - move Archeduke south - he will eventually help Fatima defending Zagreb - Radetzky March: R1->move to forrest SE R2->move to forrest NE of Bridge + Attack R3->move E - he will flank with Sophia Beograd - Attack opens city for Maria R4->move E R5->move to Stable of Cunjapoca (or south of it) R6->enter
- plan your movements for the next 3-4 turns: You know the max mobility of your generals and princess - a lot of times the points on your way are already fortified
At this point - I think you already see the complete Puzzle
Keep in mind - nothing more happens after turn 5!!! Just look for the objectives
IASI will may fall in round 6 but at this time you have already your 5β
Hints: - Spam small forts to destruct AI in the west - Train Maria/Victoria to heal her or spam double light Att to defend Bucharest (Your Maria will be healthier than Victoria - I just got her for the final battle - Defending Item for Inf will be nice
- Don't try to S/L as tactic - it's for the puzzles most times useless, the battles are scripted I think (even the use of attack items seem not to make a change many times) - if you don't succeed one battle: - keep caution on your positions (flanking) and Attack order - find additional units to join an attac (many times this is the key - even it the Unit deals only 4 Damage - suddenly you will always win the battle)
I hope this guide helps and I'm not spoiling/cheating the game, after I found this out it was much to fast finished.
Comments welcome.

Nobunaga Oda,I can't say they FAILED, but i was looking for some ways other than HRE or France 1798. I just found a guide for GB 1798 so i was going to try that.

Nobunaga Oda,I can't say they FAILED, but i was looking for some ways other than HRE or France 1798. I just found a guide for GB 1798 so i was going to try that. The first five princess I got from my first conquest (with some different finish) France 1798 - starting without Generals - I had no guide but I did just this - during campaign - so this was my orientation I've stupidly neglected Sakuraku for a while (she is needed for many puzzle later in campaign and out of the box the strongest princess) I picked Lan after reading once the perfect Guide of Antonio Luna in GB1812 - very handy (although our way to battle is very different) - already got her on an orientation (with lots of errors) - you can start this conquest directly after you got Isabella and Sakurako. Victoria I personally picked much much too late - you should have her before the start of the last campaign at least. At this time I did a funrun with Isabella (making first a deal for the car) and Lan on car - taking Madrid before round R12. - around R20 I bring Sakurako in Game to swipe up Asia - Lan and Vic are already home at the beach
