This level is pretty crazy as its the only level in the Pacific campaign in which you have to take over everything (!?!)
Anyways.
A)The Landing Operation.
1) So in order to land you need to select the location where you do not receive direct enemy fire, so in such condition the area west of the two ports (where jisaburo is)
Carefully maneuver around the ports while using your navy to provide covering fire, do not engage with enemies untill felt necessary.
2) Land close to the level two city and take over it.
B) Approaching The Center.
1) Once you have taken the city put units in there to heal, while you will be doing this Kuribayashi will attack , so the best way to deal with him is to surround him and use as many cannons/airstrikes from carrier/battleship guns as possible.
2) Now heal units again if needed and advance to the center, use the same tactic to kill Seishiro, then take over both the factory and the airport.
C) Eastern Assault
1) Heal units again and divide forces, your general and a tank go east to the mountains, the rest will go North.
2) Take over the airport that's close to the mountains to isolate Japanese there.
Move in and destroy the artilleries stationed there, use the artillery made forts to do extra damage, keep healing. 3)Take over whatever is left and destroy whatever you see as now you have a solid income.
D) Northern Assault
1)Send all naval units north to assist in taking this city and everything that's left.
2) Send all land units left in Iwo Jima to fight the units up North, primary focus should be eliminating any units coming out of any factory
That's it! You win!
