Sometimes it is more convenient and better to use just fighter to end extremely weak cities and units, but sometimes you need to simply wreck havoc with missiles.

1939 airstrike and 1943 Missile when I capture Berlin and use it to capture rest of Europe under axix control.
Germany 1943 Missile don't come in handle to since western Europe is under Germany control and only thing to use missiles in London, Soviet and switerland

That which works best at the time. Airstrike is more efficient in poorly fortified enemy, while missiles are much better for area with high air defence. Also, definitely missiles for aliens since they have high shield (unless you have lvl.10 air tech). And also missiles for city outside 9 hex. Hi Gregory Zhukov! It's an honor to meet you  |

Depends. If It's a city without AAA or AAM I'd use strategic bomber, if it's with AAA or AAM then missile. If it's a unit, then fighters for inf/arty and bombers for tank/ship.
