Do the battle of Sakarya or the battle of Gallipoli, both feature Turkish General extraordinaire Mustaka Kemal Why does everyone want Turkey? I'll do something about Turkish history, maybe something in general like the system for religions, or the Janissaries, or Sarkıkamış. Just found this old post of mine. Time to make it happen. Which Turkish historic topic should I talk about? I didn't include the system of religions simply because I don't want to risk a potential flame war.

Discussing Religion in an historical context is OK. If it digresses to flaming I will just do some moderationing

Refer to my Swiss Revolution of 1848 lecture and my different mentioning of Israel in both the Cold War and Interbellum lectures.
