I restarted the game yesterday(I reset my phone).I played france conquest and obtained sophia.
She is my only general right now.
Also i have 1.Junot
2.Golitsyn
3.Arnold
in the academy.
I have finished 4 campaign in imperial eagle and 3 in coalition.
My question is should i buy any of these above generals?
Please note: I really dont plan to spend a buck on this game so i have only 4 slots.
Or is Sophia enough for me to get other princesses like lan?

This is exactly what I did. I also restarted and first got Sophia. Then bought Golitstyn. If you have saved game right before completing the conquest, you can advance little bit more with the campaigns and you can have Fatimah and Maria as well. They suck, but are free until you save medals for better generals or unlock other princesses. My humble advice is to buy Golitsyn, because only with Sophia it will be very difficult to pass the campaigns with 5 stars, which means less medals. Good luck!

Golitsyn and Arnold, then an arty trainer (Kutaisov>Gazan>Graham), after you think it is enough for Lan, regroup the arty trainer into Sophia.

For new players, I can share how I got Isabela.
I had 1 mission left from the Coalition and 3 from Imperial Eagle campaigns. This means 31 missions passed, 5 stars each= 155/420 campaign progress.
My line up at that time was:
Sophia (74,8)
Golitsyn (74,3)
Fatimah (64,3)
And got 700 years reign.
And question for the experienced players. With my current line up- Sophia, Isabela and Golitsyn (the 4th slot is used for trainers, currently Jerome, whom I intend to regroup into Isabela)- is it realistic to pass the HRE missions, preferably with 5 stars? I am on Reconstruction of Empire currently.

Thank you very much about the reply. In the mean time, I got Kate and inserted her at the 4th slot and when eventually unlock Sakurako (I have 300 years Asia, so I should be close), I will have to get more slots.
Of course, it's not realistic for me to pass all the mission with 5 stars, but it's nice to do it in more missions as it results in more medals.

The problem is that missions get harder and by SNS, you will need slots or maxed-out gens |
