Based off a suggestion by Jean-Luc Picard in another thread for this, I will post my own version of the 1812 Conquest with Great Britain. (40 to 50 moves approximately) For this, I used 3 Generals (1 Cavalry, 1 Artillery, 1 Infantry).
First part. Your moves in red, allies in orange, and enemies in blue. Stars represent where you will have a big fight.
- Bring all your troops in eastern Canada and around Lake Ontario to New England as the French and Dutch troops will be landing there. Expect a big fight for a few rounds there.
- Bring Drummond and the militia troop down to the Russian-held city. Keep the militia troop out of the range of the Russian ships. Barclays will be headed east into the northern Michigan area, so get your troops there and hold him off until Drummond gets there. Then continue south down the Russian territory to the Spaniards.
- Take the troops around Detroit and send them to Fort Dearborn. Indian troops will also go in the same direction. Once you take Fort Dearborn and the adjacent port, spawn enough artillery forces to take the French towns to the south.
- Your naval forces in the Atlantic should be used to whittle the enemy landing force down to reduce the amount of time spent fighting in New England.
- After clearing New England, head south towards Washington DC, you shouldn't have that much trouble here except for the continuous spawning of militia from Yorktown. After taking DC, head to the west to mop up the American troops and towns to end the game (if you did it right).
- In the Spanish territory, there will probably be a few troops from France, Russia, and the US with only a Russian cavalry general which will be easy to clean out. Your next target will be the French forts to the east.
- After taking the northern French towns, head south to the French forts and join forces with the group coming from the Spanish territory. After that, head east to mop up the American forces.
