Zhuge Liang? That guy holding a fan is Zhuge Liang, right? It's Takeda Shingen, from Japan (I saw him in Samurai Warriors 4). It was Ming Dynasty at that time, so there might be Qi Jiguang, Li Rusong and someone else.

It takeda is the second one moctezuma cant be the first one which i thought Here is his head and his pic.. Takeda shingen 1521-1573 Moctezuma 1466-1520 As you see they lived in another era. Therefore moctezuma cant be the first one. Perhaps his successor?

If the era encapsulates both of their rules, then it seems perfectly viable that both could be in the game.

What if this game progresses through a set of different ages? Generals perish over time and you're supposed to see whose nation flourishes over time.

Let be honest here... we all know how badly Easytech fubble history, real bad. So bad that a 5th grader probably understand it better than the entire development team in ET. The time discrepancy could be easily a fumble on the job by the Easytech folks. Let's not forget that.

Montezuma II is that famous Montezuma one, he didn't really have a successor at all because his kingdom was pretty much completely overthrown. Summary from Wiki: Moctezuma II (c. 1460–1520), ninth Aztec emperor, killed during the Spanish conquest of Mexico, after he was captured by Conquistador Hernán Cortés.

I haven't read much about Montezuma or that he did anything notable in his reign, but Montezuma seems to have a huge part of his fame because of Cortes.
Edit: Montezuma expanded the Aztec to its greatest extent. Easytech's descirption of general one:
"I realize the unity of our country , so I became their greatest emperors . During my reign , the country's territory area has reached a new peak."
Kinda sounds like what Montezuma did, don't you think?
Also, if you look it up the feathers were Montezuma's.
Anyway, who's the third general?

He had a certain en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuauht%C3%A9moc after him. Even AoE2 got that right, and they seem to believe that the Chinese have no idea what gunpowder is.
