GoG: Classic Starting Tutorial

This tutorial is sort of a tutorial for beginners. I will make a tutorial for intermediate users later. Also this tutorial is a work in a progress.
Campaign Mode
This is the area that beginners will be spending the most time in. At the start only 1939 will be accessible. Click on it and a selection between allies and axis will appear. Participating in a level and successfully completing it will award you medals. Medals can be used for lots of things (see Headquarters section).
Whenever you participate in a level, you will receive the objective to capture cities. To decipher which cities are necessary to capture, view the flag icons and there will be a golden star circle around it. Capture all of the cities required and you will be awarded medals.
Legion Mode
This mode is not for beginners. Once you've got the proper units and generals, then you can participate in this mode.
Tutorials
Even for the users who've played many EasyTech games, I still recommend playing the tutorials. There are some differences in gameplay.
Headquarters
This is the place you can upgrade both units and your generals. This is also the place to purchase generals.
To start out, I recommend using your medals to upgrade your personal general to around major rank. While at the same time upgrading your financial centre.
After that you can upgrade more units based on this guide made by Washington:
