Other players have different choices though.

For me it's:
For 3 stars: Germany, Soviet Union, Japan
For 2 stars: Spain, Romania
For 1 star: Finland, Hungary, Belgium

I just beat 1939 playing as Denmark it was pretty easy and I only used decent generals

What's your formula to unlimited luck?
Jokes aside I think Finland is pretty easy too if you don't go for under 65 rounds. As soon as you defeated Russia just pick up what Japan didn't already conquer and help the Germans in Europe.

I controlled by the end of the conquest all of scandinavia(Norway, Sweden and Finland(duh), all major russian cities except for Minsk, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Ireland and the UK, everything from north to South America, Portugal, Turkey and Iran(Iraq? Whats Baghdad the capital of?). I had taken Jeusalem as well but I didn't gain control of the rest of Egypt. All this in 130-140 turns. First conquest ever took me from like 11:30 at night to 3:40 in the morning. Much proud such tired. |
