I don't like any one unit. I like to have combined arms in my army consisting of Medium Tanks, some heavy tanks if audible and affordable as the backbone, motorised infantry for easy manoeuvrability and field artillery for firepower. Field Artillery can be REALLY powerful if you defend them and do even more damage with forts and bunkers. That's what I mean They aren't the best in long conquests though because they can't keep up with the rest of the army. They are good in sieges and defence. I once did Operation Overlord as Rommel and had a line of tanks and infantry (with forts or bunkers) and then a line of field artillery behind them (with forts and bunkers). It did a lot of damage but I didn't win, I held out for 100 turns even after my line broke. |

1 vote for light tank....
deal masive damage output as heavy tank when combined with 4 stars tank general...and have long range movement...

Motorized inf are super cheap and can build , and are generally pretty powerful.

I would have to go with Motorized Infantry, they are fast, bulid defensives, and fight well against tanks and Infantry. My second favorite would have to be Field Artillery.
