I remember using motorized infantry quite a bit. They were affordable, move quite fast meaning I could use them to surround enemies to lower their morale.

Super tanks, unstoppable yet costly. Perfect choice for a blitz.

I have 3 Gods of Tank so Heavy Tank is best (IMO). Good movement, High HP and range of attack (sometimes no retaliation), continuously attack. The only disavantage of Heavy Tank is hard to find Lvl III factory to build, the price isn't a problem when you got high level Financial Center.

Medium tanks, the backbone of any successful army.

Medium tanks, the backbone of any successful army. In case can't get Heavy tank, I prefer Medium Tank without General, but with General, i think Light tank is better ^^!

Super tanks, unstoppable yet costly. Perfect choice for a blitz. Same its perfect if you have one in legion mode because I know that monty ahs a high rank and the tank is op. When I played Fall Gelb as UK Monty was really strong but he wasnt on a heavy tank the other troops fell quickly but Monty fought all the way to the end

Field artillery units can strike from long distances! Heck, even I can take out a super tank! But not battleships, though.

I don't like any one unit. I like to have combined arms in my army consisting of Medium Tanks, some heavy tanks if audible and affordable as the backbone, motorised infantry for easy manoeuvrability and field artillery for firepower. Field Artillery can be REALLY powerful if you defend them and do even more damage with forts and bunkers.
