I feel guilty when I get wrecked as Germany. It makes me feel like I'm bad at the game because enemy Germany seems to do everything that I fail at  it sure feels good in 1950 to destroy them without them fighting back MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA sadist |

If it is of any consolation, '43 Germany at least starts off in a pretty bad position. Even with enemy AI bonuses, Germany tends to lose Minsk, Kiev, Crimea, Brussels, Brittany, and if they're unlucky, even Paris; nevermind Africa.

Ahaha,this remind me of this dude in the russian web site,that day Russia was celebrating the great patriotic day (the soviet victory over nazi germany) and he posted he felt a little guilty because he just started a world conqueror 3 german conquest  I think most of us know that wars are terrible but what is past is past and this is just a game to entertain players that's all. |

No, you have to look at history neutrally, you shouldn't take sides or then your opinions will differentiate, by respecting and acknowledging all successes and failures of each country involved, your personal outlook on the war itself will change haha Yeah, it's best to be neutral looking into the past. For example, Hitler created a Germany that supported the killing of The Jews, Disabled, the Gypsies and more, but he slingshot the German economy and the unemployment rate was extremely low. Further back, look at the Bolshevik Revolution (WW1 Era nerds unite). It removed the Russian Monarchy, that was good, but it ushered in Russian Communism, bad, but depending on your view of how a government should be. Switzerland, man, always best to be like Switzerland. |

Switzerland wasn't that good either. I lived in Switzerland a long time and I can tell you their history isn't completely neutral. In WWI and WWII they prepared for war and in WWII they even build hundreds of bunkers hidden in the alps. Besides of that did they close the border in 1937 or 1938 I'm not exactly sure.
Here's a good citation for what happend if Germany had attacked Switzerland:
When the german Kaiser went to Switzerland he asked "What would the swiss do if 500k german soldiers would attack the 250k strong swiss army". The answer he got was "shoot twice and go home".

Switzerland gets destroyed in EW4 all the time. The French focus more on them than me Maybe Switzerland can be bait for the aliens to attack so that everybody else can gang up on them and defeat them. Then WW3 over who claims Switzerland. |

Back to the topic, I do not feel guilty playing Germany because afterall I'm commanding the German military and I'm not killing millions of people. I only kind of was surprised when I found out that Meyer and especially Schörner were hardcore National Socialists (Nazis).
