Since i am replaying gog original I have read around the internet that farming in gog (both european and pacific) is extremely hard, even if you do a conquest of a single level (like overlord) you can only get upto 25 medals (even if you play non-stop). The missions also tend to have issues like this, for example i can get 50 medals easily in the first axis/allied level but i can EARN only 4-5 medals.
So the question is that how can we farm in gog?
By the way you can buy generals there as well, but to buy them you need medals and the method to grind medals doesn't exist, we need to discover it

You can easily farm around 100 medals by playing operation overlord as rommel and just spamming heavy tanks and defending Paris to turn 100

I never really played GoG. I might get it though considering it's free and all It's a well made game but hard like the rest of Easytech games. Also no id card for units (thought they fixed that in pacific) and the game is too basic,there is not a lot of variaty like in world conqueror 3. |

 These are my recommended unit formations for farming medals in the Sicily mission(Legion mode). Don't focus too much on preserving your battleships, you'll need to manage your budget for building fortifications, heavy tanks, and artillery. After you defeat Montgomery, Patton, and Bradley; It is easy from then on.I don't know if it was just a random occurrence or is part of this mission but your southern flank rarely gets attacked. This must be because mainly infantry attacks this flank. |
