Amber way is way from southern Europe to Baltic's, it was known before ancient Greece became ancient, all of the mid sea region knew it, because of the sun stone amber. It was used until late 12 century, it was one of the longest living trade routes as it had lived for about 2500-4500 years long, nobody knows preciously because of the wars that has a cured in Baltic's after 12th century and occupation periods made history from fairy tales... |

Damn this got lost 3times, so Amber way made Romans to attack north tribes, to secure this way. Amber was used for weapons, amulets potions, jewelry and hell a lot of other stuff... Caesar had ambers in his sword and ring, he believed that they will protect him from witchcraft. .. Greece and Egypt used amber too, it was used in medicine a lot.. . There are still potion breweries that use Baltic amber in Rome This way was used to exchange knowledge and to trade not only amber, but it was main product sold and costed more than anything else at that time It was considered the gem of sun |
