Hi, you all. Proboards offers some privacy settings which I advice to turn on, since you never know whos looking with you. You go to their privacy tab by pressing on yout profile --> editting profile --> privacy First things first. Make your profile viewable for "members only". Most of the spammers, trollers and criminals dont care to register. Meaning your usually safe for them. E-mail visibility. Does anybody needs to know your e-mail? Members wont use them, same for staff. Who can use them? Spammers. Sadly you cant fully turn it off. You need to turn it to "staff only". Otherwise e-mail gatherers might add you in their database and spam you with trips to paris or something. The staff team promises to never use your e-mail unless you want to use it yourself. Also a fake e-mail is recommended, not only for this site but for all gaming-related stuff you use. Since some sites spams with things like "you havent played for some time, play now!". And mostly, you dont want that in your original e-mail. Also your original e-mail is usely name.surname@gma.com or something, it reveals your whole identity, do you want that? And ofcourse all standard rules like do not reveal your location, identity, pascode etc.. Hope this helps! NetherFreekMod team

I already use an obscure email address to register for forums and games, and I already set the email to visible only to staff. So that part, is fine. But after looking at my settings and thought about what you said, I've changed my overall privacy settings to registered users instead of everyone. I appreciate the reminder.
