I got into alliance with rome first. Than was joined by Judea which was owned by Oskar at the time. There was plan to attack Byzantine but Oskar betrayed alliance. Rome told me him and Byzantine were allied and asked me to join. I accepted and Fred has already told what happened from there.

I didn't betray the alliance, I was allied to Sherman and netherfreek and unfortunately transfermium too, just your alliance had the thing I needed, anti Byzantine, and Sherman's alliance was my safe bet until transfermium back stabbed us and our plans and made me double agent when I never was

I've spoken to Laurent de Gouvion in PM and he explained his proposal again to me because I (and I think a number of other people) didn't quite understand it. The number of espionage attacks launched on a single country is divided by 2 and rounded down. So if there are 3 espionage attacks launched against you it would be 3/2 = 1.5 rounded to 1. I still support no change to the espionage system (and even though this war has died I still like the system) but this would be my preferred alternative to no change. It's much more fair and the best compromise to both sides. Well done Laurent de Gouvion for making this it's the best proposal that tries to appease both sides.

After the famous Picard formula I think we can implement the "Souham System".

I demand a poll. Souham system or no changes. Napoleon Bonaparte and Sherman seem to be the only people who actually want a change but the Souham System is the best option for change if the MAJORITY vote for change.

Well, I'll be real with you guys. I never really wanted or cared about the Espionage stuff since the beginning, so I countered every turn because I didn't want to get involved in it. I'm absolutely certain that whether I was a smaller nation like Norse or the biggest like West Rome, I wouldnt have done anything either, so saying I opposed it because I didn't like how it gave smaller powers a leg up, well maybe, but that was not the main or primary reason. I really just didn't want to get involved in it, so I was upset when I found that you can still be attacked even if you counter, which I do find ridiculous, especially when I did it every turn.
