I think the good thing of gog2 is that It is really nice increased in difficulty. So from middle east campaigns become challinging with your current level units and generals.
Since i am No fan off aliens i therefore liked asia the mos (pritty harsh at the beginning). The difficulty in alpha and epsilon were on the otherhand very challenging too!

Europe, as a tutorial area. Also, did anyone realize the maps are based in reality? E.g. Europe 9 looks like Baltic between Sweden and Baltic nations...

Depending on what is easier to grind for new players I say Europe mission 4 it's a simple map plus you are supported by allies there are plenty of resources to start with and the enemy is weak. For those a bit more used to the game I recommend Africa mission 1 this mission is a bit more challenging but easy credits 2400 plus you can level up your units. Asia I recommend missions 4and 8 both a bit hard if your units are not above lv 25 south America mission 2 this mission requires you to either cross south through the river or East the west is protected by allies but be warned there are heavily armed tanks and rail guns
