Maybe we can see MacArthur as the Kesselring in GoG(while everyone else is like Arnold or Nagano or sth)? And how about Ridgway with 3*tank and 2*air?

hmm, but wouldn't we want to grind and get the best generals if we only have one general spot? (mebbe you think it is pointless to play this one without money to get new slots)
hmm. I'd like to stop at 500 or something and get Crerar (am canadian) then get a great general, but you guys will no doubt say that is totally stupid.
Anyway, My plans of grinding and getting certain gens is all based on Western front. Pacific seems extra impossible to get medals in.

Probably a stupid question but im new, if you buy a general thats in a campaign already, is there a double? Can you instead use his troops in the campaign in addition to commander?

I know I'm necroing the thread, but I couldn't resist Napoleon Bonaparte, he means that when you have a general (say, Jisaburo), and you open up a campaign with said general in it, can you still use the bought version. I'm pretty sure it's yes, but I haven't tried GoG:P yet. |

Mountbatten is quite good in Pacific Agreed (i have him) though good old yam man (yamamoto) replaces him. |
