Do air stars of generals effect the aircraft carrier their on? well ofc as it is AIR but but... Navy only affects an AC if its direct combat by an enemy (say a cruiser attacks an AC, the navy stars kick in there) |

I was wondering as an aircraft carrier is a navy unit. |

I was wondering as an aircraft carrier is a navy unit. I can't remember the number of stars of the top of my head but I'm guessing Osami has 5* Air and 4* navy and Yamamoto only has 4* air but 5* navy. If this is the case I would imagine it depends on the situation, if you can keep your carrier relatively safe and away from combat I would go Osami but if you're likely to be attacked/unable to protect your carrier properly maybe go Yamamoto. I'm guessing you are looking to buy only one of them, however. I'm not really one of the experts here but I would advise checking on of the "what generals to buy" threads which should tell you what you want to know. |

Oh and is this for Pacific or Original? If its original we would not advise buying a navy general especially one so expensive.
