My worst buys in my first run were buying Wingate cause I thought his skills were cool.Then buying Meyers cause Mein Panzers. Bought Darlan instead of Ozawa, and finally to add insult to injury, upgraded my EC to have 4 stars in tank with lvl 1 skills.

Why buy ozawa when you can buy fletcher. Lvl 3 wolfpack is amazing. Fletcher also has supply so he can heal somewhat. He also has an extra air star. More hp... he seems like an extremely solid purchase who hits harder than yamaoto (best navy general imo)

Problem is that he's about 300 more medals than Ozawa while only being slightly better. Ozawa is also good enough to fit his role and due to navy being bad in WC3, there is no need to invest in a better general.

I made some pretty hilariously bad decisions first time I played WC3. I was still new to ET games at that time. I first decided to upgrade the ECs and prioritized stars over skills. I think I had something like a mini-inf and mini tank EC? Then I got Chung, then Zhang L.F. then Isakov and then Ozawa. At one point I must have figured out that I had to actually save for a good general instead of wasting my medals on garbage people. My next choice? List.
I restarted and got Govorov as my first gen after visiting this forum for the first time and had a way better time.

My story was very similiar and that's also how I found the forums too! So probably a good thing that I made idiotic decisions on my first run.

The stars look pretty good tbh If its EW4 then I would say he will do quite good but in WC3..Nope.One star difference is alot here.Also,you can't change the general's skill but the ECs.Konev is so dar the most distinguish hybrid here and Montgomery,arguably. |
