I know the mods can shut down evil posts and can move stuff but
what else is there?

Putting myself as an example here;
I can lock threads, sink them (sinking means no matter how much you comment it doesn't rise up), bump them (opposite of sink), and move posts that were actually made in my board to anywhere else (ew4 boards, wc3 boards, general category, moderator board, scrapyard (mod board and scrapyard are invisible to normal people in case you are wondering)).

However, these responsibilities grow as you progress on, like Picard can do everything normal moderators (normal means like me or batten or the like) can but in all boards, g-mods can issue warnings, bans as well as S-mod stuff. Admin can do everything.

Can Proboards staff get access to them? I'm measly curious because I would think there should be some way for people to get access in case there was somthing done against terms of service (and reported) or even somthing illegal. |

^No one in our firum staff (including myself) can access private messages but I can stop some members from using the messaging system if there is a problem.
Highest level of proboards staff probably can though monitor pms.
