I am struggling at this one. I easely overwhelm the german army and it isnt even hard to do that. But the general you have to save just dies by planes from berlin... anybody know how to solve this?

I beat it by having one of my untouched eyes covered generals on the field artillery and another one on the heavy tank. I also had my lv3 infantry eyes covered guy on a commando, goring on the motorised inf (and sitting in the airfield) and badoglio on the rocket artillery. First i killed the commander on the tank with the nearby units and moved badoglio towards Berlin to bombard it. Next round i advanced towards the general on the Maus and moved my hvy tank and commando /w general towards Berlin to help badoglio take the air general out + i used goring to bomb the general on Maus. Once the air force and maus generals were dead it was pretty much just keeping the rest of the german forces away from the commander. Hope this helped

Don't let them cross the river and concentrate your best tank general to kill their superheavy tank.after that push to the capital of the enemy and take the city before they kill the US general with air strikes

This is annoying because every player suggests using really good generals like guderian but I didnt have anything like that and it doesn't help. Any other tips?

DON'T play the campaign until you get better generals, that's what I did. I got enough medals from conquests alone to get Badoglio. Manage to finish both sides Axis and Allies in 1939 under 65 turns to unlock medal wonders both Pyramids and City of Cuzco. Then farm the conquests more for 3 different types of resources to earn for upgrade your troop techs. Stronger troops helps a LOT in conquests but not quite same effect in campaign. Later on, you will eventually grind enough medals from the wonders, it's a never-ending but slow source. So that's a possibility even if it's not the fastest.

As long as you have at least one good general along with Crerar and your 3 base generals, my strategy should work Take your highest rated general and place him on the rocket artillery. Immediately move that rocket artillery onto the level three city and never move it off. Put Crerar on the field artillery, and put the base generals on the tank, heavy tank, and commando. Fight off the Germans as normal, but leave the rocket artillery on the level 3 city, and you should win.
