For those of us wondering about it the Guru rating system has now been enabled on the EU5 board.

What a gimmick, not worth my time. Don't judge on Graphics alone. I play and make maps(for a mod of course) Wesnoth, so in your opinion I'm a relic from 2003, no? ANd the game has interesting potential that I could see we having in other stuff even if this is a flop. I don't base it on graphics alone, I base it on the fact it is most likely going to be farming intensive, which in itself isn't something a game should have. Do not misunderstand my comments for disrespect to you, map creators are and always will be an important part of gaming.

Why are they keeping fog of war??? OMG it is the worst thing ever created in easytech games It adds a layer of: -complexity -difficulty -realism Like real wars opponents dont know everything about every units at all times.Often warring parties dont even know everything about their own sides much less the opponent side! This is why friendly fire often happens. But yeah this game feature is not everyone favorite and some games gives you the option to turn it on/off.

Why are they keeping fog of war??? OMG it is the worst thing ever created in easytech games Click Enter then type "no fog" in Chat board. Does anybody remeber this game?? ^^! Back to your opinion, I think this factor make the game become more realistic, it's "unfair" when you know every enemy moves without pay anything, at least must active radar like GoG ^^!

Coming from Wesnoth, FoW is important. Balance stuff with better maps, not removing FoW and SoW (shroud of war, basically Civilisation's black parts).

Im not saying that fog of war is the worst thing ever but im just saying after eu4 and wc3 this just dosent fit, glory of generals 1 and ace were both total garbadge that had this fog, adding fog of war adds nothing to realism, becose you know what else isnt realistick? for example, the fact that you can play battles again after loosing, mmm im sure real life generals could do that to! Fog of war is never gonna work for easytech's engine and this is going to be bad game if they keep it,completly ruins strategy just becose its 'realistick' this game isnt realistick and it will never be as long as general can defeat enemy while outnumbered 1:50

Fog of war does not add complexity,it adds luck and exploits abusing becose enemy positions are always same,if they are that desperate to make game harder by adding fog then this game is pretty much terrible,0 startegy involved, fog of war is for realtime strategy not turn based strategy, should chess have fog of war too? No becose chess IS strategy and this wont be strategy at all if they keep making these dumb stuff

Also, Wesnoth and Civilisation (all of them) are both TBS, and both has FoW. Don't tell me that a game from 2003 and a classic of TBS are both crap.

He just gives his own opinion about fog of war.
some like it, some don't. There's nothing to change about that.
