(btw all are thoughts and don't necessarily have to be true) Left bottom you see the name of the general: Suleiman. (he was a sultan from the ottoman empire btw) In the middle left, you see a picture of him. He scores 3 out of 5 stars. I guess this is like wc3 and ew4 or so. the more stars, the better. Below you see some skills. You see a horse, a mouth with question marks and a shield. I think those are general skills. You can upgrade them i think by the plus thing right to the skills. I think the skills are horse leader, confusion, and defense tactic. (probably all 3 wrong) Let's move to the middle part. You see he is lvl21. i think the middle above part are KO's. when he reachs 200 KO's, he goes to lvl22. the maximum level is 30, as shown in another general Below that you see a picture of the unit he controls. in this case it are "knights" You see 4 things around the pic. one with a sword above, one with a shield above, one with boots above and one with a redraw sign above. i think those items influence that specific area. Btw i got a feeling these are items, like in ew4 or 3kc. Below you see 2 pics which i can't place, posibly these are skills. Then you have health, damage, range, and movement (in this case he moves 5 hexes). Also you see a shield, i got a feeling this shield = damage reduction. To the right you see a lot of stuff which i don't know. Let's make a random gamble: IDK IDK IDK this could be supply levelling up speed? IDK IDK

I think it is a good layout because it gives you complete information on a general, very quickly.

I think it is a good layout because it gives you complete information on a general, very quickly. I personally disagree and like the simpler layout for EW4, WC3 and GoG (ORIGINALY NOT ACE). But time will tell. Maybe I'll end up liking it.

First look on avatar: Sulei lvl 26 and no "+" button at "star line" but Attila lvl 30 has "+" Button. Has or hasn't may be depend on lvl or depend on the rank of general to be upgraded (1st, 2nd, 3rd tier?). If the later, that means you can't buy full power Gen, have to upgrade him time by time. The skill also need to be upgrade manually. Right side column. The 3rd cell can be Critical rate, 4th can be Critical damage. (Oh, RGP factor) 1st cell can be Accuracy (That means attack can be missed in this game)

Because of the way upgrades are laid out, you're going to have to spend time upgrading a general, even if he's a 5 star. I like that, because it gives you alot more time in gameplay while still having a goal.

Something im worried about is the uniqueness of generals. Ew4 was great, 3kc was even better, wc3 was mehh and im worried about this one.

If I cannot farm/grind I would not play it. Making a great general will be costly.

I wonder if they'll use the grouping feature from EW4. Not my favorite game, but I actually still liked that feature.
Maybe that's how you can change from 3 stars to 5 stars (by buying trainer generals then use them up)? It can be costly.

If I cannot farm/grind I would not play it. Making a great general will be costly. Or they may use other ways to replace it, like Banks inGoG2 or mission in wc3
