I would personally get rid of Calder and try to get Kate. Perignon sucks, too diverse. Keep him for now though and save up for oudinot or dobeln if you want infantry, if you want cavalry (which is more recommended) try and save up to get Sulkowski, if you are feeling brave enough and willing to farm a lot of medals, get Golytsin. Once you have enough medals for one of the four, say goodbye to perignon. Serurier isn't that great either, but use him until you can get a second one of the four mentioned above, or you can go and try and get Sophia. Marmont can be kept for now until you can get a decent artillery gen (you can even replace him with Sophia if you want).
You can get Kate the easiest from GB 1812 IMO. You can get Sophia the easiest from GB 1798. Default gens are decent for those eras and have access to various fronts. You could also try France 1798 for Sophia, but it is more complicated IMO, but some say it is easier, your preference. You can find guides for those in training camp. Get a few princesses with your generals. Eg Sophia Isabella etc.
regroup all your generals except perignon as he is your only decent cav gen.
Let your princesses in and get them a few trainers.

I'd say get Sophia and kate,regroup calder and perignon into them and after you get Isabella,regroup marmont into her and after some time regroup kate into Isabella(if you have extra slots by now keep her and don't regroup,cuz it's a big mistake.I miss kate alot!)After that(if you have regrouped kate)get Golitsyn and if you're brave enough,get Berthier.Dont keep maria and fatimah as they're useless.
