Zhu D. got the right skills to make him semi-recommended. He is still not recommended. But he is by far THE best price/quality general for infantry in this game.
So let's take a look at him.
What do you see? Most likely you note his insane health for only 1190, that's an achievement itself. But that's only one of his pro's
Output
Pfoe, he got like 3 stars. Your probably not dreaming about that...
but he also got guerilla lvl4. which makes his output 16+8=24. This still doesn't seem high, let's compare it with other top-ranked generals.
Valivesky 28+2+10+6+1,2=47,2 (2080)
Mannerheim 28 (2080)
Yamashita 20+3+1,6=24,6 (3240)
Zhu D. 16+8=24 (1190)
Peng 16+8=24 (1890)
Mcarthur 20+2+1,2=23,2 (3490)
yes, by far he ain't valivesky. But the other top ranked generals don't differ too much from him. Also take into account that those guys just doubles or triples his price.
Survivability
Ok, he got 230 health. lvl2 supply and lvl2 raider. THAT'S JUST AMAZING.
He is equal to mannerheim in ability to regain health, the rest is below him
He doesn't have air damage resistence, Peng and Mannerheim has.
He has less land damage resistence than peng and mannerheim, is equal to yamashita and higher than the rest.
He has the same amount of health as McArthur, the rest is below him.
He has MORE survivability than Valivesky
He has MORE survivability than Peng
(low lives peng)
He has MORE survivability than Yamashita
He has MORE survivability than McArthur
He has LESS survivability than Mannerheim
Conclusion
Zhu.D is kinda Mannerheim-lite. He shows amazing output, survivability and health for such a cheap price.
He will never be fully recommended since i don't recommend you to go for a beginning infantry general.
However, if you want a cheap infantry, try him. he'll be worth it.
Or if you want to have a second infantry (after valivesky), but find mannerheim to expensive, choose him.
infantry is a hardly used unit, an infantry general is even rarer. So I can understand if you don't want to spend too much medals on one, but ill still recommend Valivesky above him.
But he can function as a second infantry general for pure endgame reasons, for the few occasions you need a second infantry general he will do.
