The intro text to the first scenario of HttT, Battle for Wesnoth's first and most iconic campaign:
(Note: Asheviere is an evil queen and final boss of this campaign)
Sixteen years into her rule, Asheviere turned her attention to the wood elves living in the great forest southwest of Wesnoth, whom she despised. Orcish mercenaries were hired and dispatched to bring about their ruin.
vs.
Ten years, six during control, [Asheviere] south of the border, she looked great forest elf [Wesnoth] ,. Orc troops and sent for destruction.
[Note: Asheviere and Wesnoth were a bit...warped in the translation, so I placed their names in for readability.]

Anyway, for now we're dependent on learning languages since Google Translate doesn't work so well yet Oh I forgot to mention that Google tends to have open-source software (not always and certainly not forever), it's possible that as Google Translate improves to a point where a company would try to take that software (plus Google Speech) and bend the two softwares to their wants (mangling it in the process) and try to market universal translators, ultimately making cheap, barely reliable units. Go figure  |
