This may be another European war 4 boards rename affair
But shouldn't we rename the title 'marshall' to 'marshal'?
Unless this was intentional, which I have no knowledge of

Both spellings are considered correct, although Marshal is more common. saltin, Washington, I would advise for a change in the name of the rank, although it does not matter much.

This is going to sound wierd bug Marshall looks better than Marshal. Because words to me are like visuals and they carry weight. Two L's look better than one because it weighs down the word. Maybe I just sound crazy

Marshall is the proper spelling of military rank, the l version was made by people who made things like OK(a.c.)

Yeah at the time the ranking was made I had to check the spelling of that rank and it turned out both version were acceptable.

Marshal might also be from the French MaréchalIt comes from that, but it was first introduced as Marshall in American infantry, I bet Sherman can tell more precisely, but the Marshal came as a misspell, just like thru, OK, Etc...
