Now that someone else has taken the role of Kaiser in Diplomacy, I have an announcement.
I am now on an indefinite hiatus from these games. Whether or not it will truly be indefinite remains to be seen.
I've been here for a year, and I've tired of the wars that end in salt and the stupid, most personally-frustrating ways they've ended for me.

You were polite to me with your request to step down from Germany's Kaiser. I can't speak for others, but only for myself... I didn't think badly of you for needing to distance yourself from the RP games in here.
In a way, I actually prefer the method you took in approaching me about your need to step down than a certain rude idiot who shall remain unnamed that just ran off randomly one day and refused to explain nor to even simply communicate with me to this day about what happened.
If anything, this outburst is uncalled for and wholly unnecessary. It was fine to take a hiatus.
