So,I've heard that princesses will be a massive aid for me. I am not sure that I have the willpower/skill to finish a conquest fast(I prefer a slow start, then building up,and have difficulty managing large countries).I only have Grouchy, who was just laying in the headquarters when I was given this iPad.(My main one was destroyed) Any tips?

You have to learn to play fast: build up cities in the first few turns, while sending your starting units to attack. By turn 5 or 10 (5 if you're in a princess conquest), build troops in front-line cities

The best conquest for starters is GB 1798, which will give you Sophia. A cavalry general (Dumouriez or Golitsyn) is more recommended, but Grouchy is passable.

Play GB 1798. You should be able to get Sophia no problem under 65 turns. Use Sophia to play campaigns and continue to practice conquests until you get the hang of things. Look for a GB guide in training camp if you need one.

Kate had been a lifesaver in terms of naval battles.
