Ya badges are proboards store items (real money) anyone and everyone can purchase and gift them to anyone they please.Although very few peole elect to do so.Now and then I buy a few myself and hand them out although this doesnt happen very often. Do you give to mods who have promoted or members who have promoted to a special rank No, although Mods are often given 3 badges for visual appeal |

Usually active/recommended/distinguished by posting great threads ect..Some members buy them to give them to other members just to show appreciation.

It's fairly common practice on proboards,the company hosts huge amount of communities and members and staff do that just about everywhere but again there are no set standards or any expectations it's basically who ever feels like doing it type of thing. |
