In this thread a non user of the game can make a question about the game to anuser of the game.
First questions:
-Is empire mode like the mission tab in wc3? That you need to complete tasks instead of red missions.
-In the conquest mode i only see you guys expansing. But can the enemy attack you as wel? Can the enemy take one of your cities? Basically, can you lose?
-also about the conquest mode: can the enemy/friend neglect your diplomacy move? Or will they always accept your offers?

Another question raises up about the general system
Are money and medals farmable? I saw the strong ones cost medals and the weak money, can you uptain all of them (except the iap), are they farmable?. Is there any way to farm money? Or medals?
If you replay a mission, will it still give you (a less amount of) money and medals?
Or are there banks or wonders (something like that)
Or can you farm in conquest or empire mode?

A few new questions:
- Can you play multiple conquests at the same time?
- if not, can you replay a conquest at any time, or do you need to play the conquest forever with the same country?
- can you change items during battle? In ew4 you can change items during the battle, in 3kc, you couldnt? How about this game, can you change an item of the general during the battle?

Also, do you need to recrute troops before the battle (3kc), do you get some troops on beforehand (gog2), or do you need to recrute troops during the battle?
I saw the generals being assigned to troops...

Another one, its about princesses vs generals.
Princesses seem to have a non-fighting influence over the battles. Generals have a fighting influence over the battle.
- are princesses free (as in, no medals or gold), do you get them at random points in the campaign?
I saw princesses being used for conquest and generals for campaign.
-but can you use generals for conquest or princesses for campaign as well? Or are thet totally useless in those modes?

Empire mode has provinces where you buy generals and items. It has missions like the yellow ones in WC3. you can attack a province which gives you a level where you have to destroy the enemy castle. Invasion is like quest mode in GOG2 |

Princesses are not free. To get them you need to build a capital city in empire mode than you need to bring gifts to the princesses. Once the heart reaches 100% you get the princesses. sorry for the trillon questions, but here's another  can you build fortifications during battle? or are they preplaced and they can't be changed? or (in conquest mode) do you need to buy a fortification for the city you defend? |

Question: How hard is it to farm for resources in order to upgrade troops?
Question: How hard is it to get enough resources to gift to princesses and to hire generals?
Maybe you can use EW4 or WC3 to compare to give an answer.

Great idea to post specific questions so we can give direct answers/info... At the moment I cannot getting in to them since i have no time. best75 is clearly rolling quickly and has answered most of your questions.. I am not that far and i have not yet the real sense of liking it or completly understanding it all.. for me its really harsh to get ok with the way it looks..it feels like i play a game for 8 years old... but probably the strategy will help me like it... After a good night sleep i am looking in to all your questions Like |

Only if the conquest are of a different era can be multiple be played 2. You can restart a conquest to play a different country in an era 3. I don't know yet. |

I saw the generals being assigned to troops... You don't recruit troops before a battle. You chose your generals you want for the battle. On the campaign map you can recruit troops and start off with units that are not your general for the battle. |
