I almost forgot but for me atm the best way to easy upgrade the generals was:
1. give your best +XP gaining gear to 1 general (all generals will do maybe not the 2-3 hex shooters) and let him alone autobattle dynasty prosperity lvl 2 (hegemony in central asia). you somethimes have to restart but in couple of matches he is full upgraded

I also find Mongol Empire 2: The Empire in the East is a good scenario for leveling your general since enemies endlessly attack on the left side of your starting location.

Hi guys, Don't want to create new topic for such a simple question... I saw in the web screenshoots with the generals 40+ and 50 level and in the Discovery Age. How is it possible? I am in the Discovery Age and 44 level right now and have no possibiliy to promote my generals higher than level 40. Hi andrei, are you in Gunpowder age? I think that might be the reason. You just need to upgrade your empire to Gunpowder but no need to finish the campaign for Discovery Age (I have not finished the campaign but I already promoted my generals to 5 stars). |

Hi kanue, no I am in the Discovery Age. And the screen is not mine. Look at it, the guy is also in the Discovery Age and have the generals with level 50, that's what I am asking about... Doea the level of the enemies during the invasions depend from my level only or from the Age also? Whether shall I face more difficult enemies during invasion inthe Gunpowder Age?
