just like in gog2 by KO your general gets XP (5 I think without extra items). Your general lvl will increase till a max number for each era (lvl 10 classical era, lvl20 medieval era) increase in health, shealth and attack mainly:   |

Isnt it like xp in ew4? Killing a general gives more xp than killing a normal unit?

Your generals can't gain exp in conquest.

Your generals gain more exp from killing units in later eras.
I killed a unit in medieval era with general and checked the exp before and after.
The increase is 10 exp in medieval era

I did my experiment in medieval are, 5xp gained. Did you use a general with an item that helps increasing xp?

Never noticed it before.
Doing the daily mission with a general gives them 100exp

Discovery age gives 30 exp per kill
gunpowder age gives 40 exp per kill
The daily mission gives me 250 eep when i use a general for it now. Before i noticed it giving 150, 200 exp.
