Please tell me you're not doing them 'just for fun' Very impressive btw, do you use first turn aggression to put the generals in a conquered tavern?

I just bumped into this old thread and was curious to see how quickly (in terms of turns) they could be done. At first I wanted to do all ages, but I've already lost some interest, conquests are the most boring part of this game. And I think that all conquests, except Ragnarok and maybe industrial, can be done in about 13-14 turns (with a big country, at least). Anyway, I deployed the generals in the available taverns at the beginning. Only for the Huns I conquered Venice on turn 1 and put a general there. It's really nothing impressive, anyone with strong enough generals (with healing items or logistics) can do it.

It's easy: just use forced marches and mass airlifts Aside from jokes, you just need to note the "fast lanes". Consider the medieval age map: suppose you started in Minsk and needed to reach Luoyang (south of Beijing). Going through Karakorum is faster than through Kiev, Almaty and so on.
There is also the trick of attacking without conquering: for instance, if you have to take Moscow from Minsk, make sure you have a general and some other units there. Attack only with the general, wipe out the garrison and the towers, weaken the town center, then retreat. In the same turn you finish the job and take the city with the normal units. This way, you only waste one turn instead of two going back and forth. The general loses 25% of health, but it isn't a problem with healing items.

They should have included these tactics with the update to tanks and field artillery
And I haven't thought of this drive-by optimization. It's nice to learn something new Maybe I'll get an opportunity in one of the remaining ragnarok conquests (for which I still don't feel motivated)

10 turns in the classical age would be possible only at two conditions: - using Carthage; - buying additional slots and using at least 6 generals.
