Okay, if I pick a general up in a tavern or as a starting unit in a conquest and they die, that's it - they're dead - I get that.
But what about generals that I buy (with earned or bought medals), or princesses which are unlocked (haven't got there yet)? Do they somehow stick around, or are they also lost forever if I allow their unit to be destroyed in battle?

Any generals in headquarters are there forever (unless regrouped into another gen)
if you regroup a general you can get them from the academy again.
If you regroup a princess that's it. Game over for them.

I understand about regrouping, but I want to know about combat losses.
Does this mean that I can immediately reassign them to a fresh unit if the one they are in is killed? That they are in fact invincible even if the units they are in are not?

Assigned generals can be used only once per battle. If their unit dies, then they can't be reassigned.
Also note that in conquest you can't always assign all of your generals
5* countries can only be assigned 3 academy generals
4* countries can be assigned 4 academy generals
and so on

That they are in fact invincible even if the units they are in are not? If you assign your HQ generals ın the conquest or campaign,you have a limitt.ıf they die,you cant pick any other general. So you need to chose your starter generals wisely. Generals limitts also limitted by country stars as previous comment he told about generals pick limitt for country stars. |

Okay, so let's see if I've got this straight.
Generals bought in the academy and used in conquest mode can only be used in that conquest - once that unit dies, the general is out for the rest of the conquest. HOWEVER, they are still in the academy and if you restart another battle, they are available for that separate battle. Right?
Also you mention "in conquest" - does this mean that in campaign you can use as many as you want?
Comment about limits noted - clearly it's supposed to be the leveller so that the smaller nations get a chance against the bigger ones.
Do I assume that the same thing applies for princesses?

Princesses are treated as generals.
you can use a max of 6 generals in campaign and for 2 star countries, and yes, generals stay in the academy if their unit is destroyed in battle

Let me try clear this questions marks in your head; - Academy generals which can be bought from cities innconquest mode are disappear after your finish your conquest game. So it doesnt stay permanently. -Generals from your "HeadQuarter" are permanantly yours because you already pay alot of medals&royal emblems. -Generals which are bought in conquest mode from Tavern is appear so they are just avaible for that conquest. So if you restart another battle they will be avaible for that battle conquest. //Conquest and Campaign modes are different; -campaign mode which has severals different countries and many historical war,is realising from you. Each campaign has reward and this rewards given by your round finish timing. -In campaign mode you have 6 general slots which is given by game so you can pick 6 general from you headquarters. ıf you wanna go after princess there is a great few topics which is proven by many players as i do so i recommande you to chech HRE 1798. But for elite princes like victoria and lan,you have to have few good generals and few items. |
