So I was talking with mataramasuko in a thread, and he compared Radetzky to Guderian. I figured matching EW4 Generals to their WC3 Counterparts could be fun to do, so here goes Lan=Guderian: Both are best tank/cav, murder humans, decent against all targets Murat=Patton: Crack forts, still strong against Units Suvorov=Vasilevsky: Crazy output, but a turtle. Napoleon=Leeb: Shiny stars, crappy skills Washington=Mannerheim: Infantry General with epic survivability Jackson=Gamelin/Petain: Overpriced, useless General with a meh historical record Any suggestions? |

Great topic Jean-Luc Picard, Here which i tried and found smilar hehe; Nelson=Yamamoto or Dönitz mostly Dönitz Goystlyn= Basaglio or Bai Lan= defo Guderian Isabella= Govorov Lannes= Vasilevsky lol Murat = Patton Radetzsky= Rommel Lasalle= Rokossovsky Devout= Konev Few of em i couldnt try but i can imagine their attributes. |

mataramasuko, you're overlooking some key things 1) Lannes has survivability that Vasilevsky can only dream of 2) Rokossovsky is an inf/cav hybrid 3) Golitsyn is an endgame cav, Bado is a beginner Arti, Bai is an endgame Arti

Oh well that may be right. Bai is much better for sure but badaglio is not bad either.ı prefered him besides non-eyes seen created generals.
Guderian worth every penny which i spent for him.he is a masterpiece of wc3

The closest such general in EW4 is either Dumouriez (Cav, but plays the same role) or Kutaisov (not as useful, but same unit type) |

I couldn't try Dumoriez neither Kutaisov but i checked their stats. Not bad as a starter general. Mine starter general was Döblen and Goystlyn and they were same as bado and vasilevsky.

That was the early game i was talking about then i upg my generals with top tiers same as in wc3, Guderian was the best decision ı've ever had. Graziani i had before and patton as city creaker but gude was beast |

Platov=Franco (Useless and Tier 2/c. 1000 medals)
Pasha=Mahdi (Middle Eastern, not useful, and no one knows who he's supposed to represent)
Kate=Nimitz/Eisenhower (Great but not the greatest Nav gen you'll need, and American)

Dumouriez-Crerar/vatutin? They both arent the best in their fields but will do the job until you get a better gen. Dumo plays a role much akin to Bado, except he's a cav guy. Crerar, Auchinlek, or Vatutin seem right |
