No. I'd say Nobunaga. Tougou will 100% be a tavern guy (easytech won't give you free Bismarck) so no Li. And Inca campaign... You are facing anti-cav infantry man? That's only one campaign, not worth buying or not buying a general because of it. Plus, I'm rolling out a full infantry lineup. So even if i don't upgrade barbarossa, Alexander and Joan of Arc, I'll still have Caesar and Lincoln which should get through it. However, i'm more concerned with the full long term plan and especially the archery and artillery part of things. Seeing how they will be opening 2 purple artillery general in the next 2 patch and already have 2 gold artillery generals (if you count napoleon), it is unlikely that there will be a new gold general in the future. Li is clearly better than the Chinese purple artillery general and debatable whether him or Bismarck is better since Li is gold and Bismarck is purple. Since Cleopetra is clearly outdated, i'm seriously thinking of whether Li is needed to get through the Discovery age. As for archer, there are currently 1 gold (Washington) and 2 purple (Yisunsin and Nobunaga). I'm thinking they might have a buyable gold one in the future. Though Nobunaga might fit the place for a second archery general? |

It doesn't make sense that they put out 2 gold general for each class with at least 1 in market except archer where there's only 1 gold general. |

wintercastle, I am in the same position as you for artillery general. I don't have either Li or napoleon. Li will have higher stats due to being gold but his skills are not the best for artillery and bismarck will have special unit at 5 star. I don't want to spend any medal on upgrading cleopatra anymore and don't want to buy a general if it will not be useful for endgame.

IOS update is out. Upgrading stars is super expensive, new generals (academy) are Rani of Jhansi(white), Peter the Great(blue inf, Infantry Leader+Rumor+Shelter), Catherine the Great(same as Robin Hood), Columbus(blue arty), Koxinga(purple arty, Explosive Expertz+Navigation+Marshal). IMO Cath is good for this era(350 medals mate???). . I am a bit curious. I notice you already mention a few times that Columbus is coming on the next patch but he is already there in my tavern so your version and mine are different, perhaps? Or do I misunderstand something. |

I don't have the update myself since i'm playing with android, but according to Chinese forum, upgrade costs are: Gold 750, Purple 600, Blue 350 and White 250 As for next age upgrade, it's 600 Literature, 40 diamond and forgot the rest, can't find the original post. |
