There appears to be no gold archer guys. Of the remaining generals from the list they can be seen in invasion and none of them are gold archers. Heihachiro and bismarck are purple artillery Li Hongzhang is blue archer Retain, Conrad, Kemal are all infantry The game detail from app stores says "... with over 100 great generals ... " But I can count only 47 generals obtainable in this patch. So if EasyTech does not include those random generals from tavern in that "over 100", then there should some hope that they will add more in the future. Well, I am not so positive but I will keep my hope up. Pretty sure that 100 includes all the unnamed generals that appear in the game. Never said they had to be obtainable or historical. I really don't see them adding anymore generals than what we already have since only the Industrial Age is left and we already know the generals for those campaigns above.

Well, easytech has the record in WC3, so no surprises that they'll do it again in EW5.

Tariq ibn Ziyad, I'd go with Barbarossa in terms of cost, as he does not cost medals to get, only coins and treasures (though I've only got him to 83% after many offerings of ivory) however if you compare their profiles, Caesar has better stats in every way, and In my opinion better skills. (Barbarossa might have better health with his third skill, but caesar uses his third skill for defence so Id say caesar still wins that) Huh. I was thinking of upgrading to Catherine, but is she really that better than Robin hood? only difference be stats, and they don't seem that different. movement and attack are only real changes.

Theres the fact catherine already starts at 4 stars and costs gold to buy. Gold is quite common in the game. Robin Hood needs to be upgraded to 4 stars using medals. You will want to save the medals.

Is it actually worthwhile to upgrade Robin Hood to Empire Age? He loses his Longbowman and its good range, and we can get Catherine for gold in Gunpowder age anyway

If you have no other archers ( like 3 star Hua Mulan or at least Moctezuma ( Pachacuti)) I'd say yes, since you need something to kill the cavalry. Otherwise you could let him with 2 stars, but I feel the need of 2 archer or even 3 archers in my squad, so If you don't upgrade him make sure to get Nobunaga. BTW, now it is the time for somebody to start doing a every general analysis. Edit: I am 95% sure se get Catherine in Discovery Age for 125.000

Catherine is unlocked in Discovery actually. I regret upgrading him to empire for 2 reasons. 1-Catherine is superior, and odm is correct. Only 125,000 coins. I would have saved more medals if I stopped at medieval. 2. Regardless of the possibility of regaining the skill in the 6th age, his longbowman appearance is lost forever. That's why my Barbarossa is still Teutonic and my Hannibal is still with his elephant bros. Nobunaga is a good choice. I understand if your question benefits more than yourself, but you have Washington anyway right? Wait for Catherine or Nobunaga.
