There probably already is a thread about this but how do you use golden stars leave them? Change them into medals? Upgrade units? Both? If so, what is the approximate ratio of changing into medals:upgrading troops?

Just unlockig units, especially in later canpaings is inportant BUT on the start its more useful to sell them with a 5 star trade gen (best option Battle of Austerlitz with Alexander I )

Well stars may help you just unlock 1-2 units in SNS but my opinion is,it would be huge waste. Better sell em with 5* trade skilled general. It gives 4 medals for each star.

Dumb question, if you do sell them, you 'lose' them in the count for campaign progress for princess chasing? To win a princess, sometimes stars are needed in addition to low turn # and high resource #'s. I haven't sold my stars yet, but I'm wondering if it does have an effect toward that kind of them?

No it doesnt lower your Rule, in the crown menu says how many stars you got in the campaing and how many you can get

Stars just effect the campaign which you use em for upgrade units so it has not relevant with chasing princess. Campaign progress is effecting princess progess but stars don't help you with any side of it. Basicly stars are useless beside you use em for upg your general or for buying new brand general.

And even if you are lack of stars for unlocking unit in campaign, you can buy them again in campaign with trading general w/o losing any more medals than the amount you get from selling them. Stars in campaign shop refresh when you replay mission in campaign, unlike equipments. So IMO sell all of them if you are in need of medals and buy them again when you need them. The Rule years is only base on how many star you got from Camp, not how many you have. If it count the number of stars you having, you can get 1000 stars in process w/o complete any mission in Campaign, it will become useless for analyzing your Playing process to get Princess ^^!

S**t, just used 150 stars to upgrade units in the Coalition campaign (which I have finished) thinking that it would carry on to other campaigns.... well, that wasn't the case. I truly am an idiot, thats a potential 600 medals gone...... *deletes ew4*
