This game of Diplomacy will play using the 1898 variant, slightly tailored. In 1898, the starting positions are such:

England:
F EDI
Germany:
A KIE
Russia:
A StP
Turkey:
A SMY
Italy:
A NAP
France:
A BRE
Austria:
A TRI

Special Rule:
A nation starts out controlling 1 SC. It may use any SC's it controlled in either Winter 1898 or Winter 1899 (or both!) as home SC's (this is my addition, it is not so in real 1898)

Stonewall Jackson: Italy
Quintus Fabius: Russia
Der Kaiserreich: Turkey
Napoleon Bonaparte: Austria

I might join if you do need a 7th player to fill the last slot. I don't want to force someone out of taking a position at the table, and I would rather to allow him have a taste of Diplomacy.

You just list all th countries in order of which one you want most to which one you want least and then Jean-Luc Picard will put s presence through some algorithm and assign people thier countries based off what the algorithm gives.
