You lot can PM each other, but players and countries may change by November 8th if more people cede their spots to newcomers so what happened to the Youngstown variant? Unbalanced? Not going to do it. Unbalanced, and the offboard rules are too annoying (I struggle with them)

That's actually better than Nov 8, because I was considering posting my country selection thread on Nov 5 (before you had mentioned Nov 8 at all). I had an internal debate about how soon should I open with TW14. Setting your Dip03 earlier and my TW14 later gives each other more spacing between the opening phases. I never want the Diplomacy series to clash with the TW series.

I have school until the 14th of November. But for the weekends, next Monday and next Friday, I'm available the war will basically take less than 15 minutes of your time a day, and I'm pretty sure you can get online for at least 15 minutes? Or you can ask Jean-Luc Picard.

I have school until the 14th of November. But for the weekends, next Monday and next Friday, I'm available What Napoleon Bonaparte said, but you can also send orders in advance (so send in all your orders for a year, for example at once) and make changes if you have too. You could also find a sub for if your particularly busy. However if you can't commit to it (that's totally fine) but please tell this to the GM and they can then find a sub. Don't just ignore the game.

Note: This war will start on November 2nd (This coming Wednesday), at midnight GMT This game of Diplomacy will play using the 1898 variant, slightly tailored. In 1898, the starting positions are such: England: F EDI Germany: A KIE Russia: A StP Turkey: A SMY Italy: A NAP France: A BRE Austria: A TRI
Special Rule: A nation starts out controlling 1 SC. It may use any SC's it controlled in either Winter 1898 or Winter 1899 (or both!) as home SC's (this is my addition, it is not so in real 1898)
Assignments: Frederick the Great: England Pierre-Charles Villeneuve: France Stonewall Jackson: Italy Quintus Fabius: Russia Der Kaiserreich: Turkey Napoleon Bonaparte: Austria Tito: Germany
Waitlist (will be brought in if a vacancy forms): 1. GA Omar Bradley
On-call Subs (will play if the waitlist empties and a vacancy forms): 1. Laurent de Gouvion2. Desophaeuseh Bradley, might want to check this out if you haven't already, you're already a substitute? WUT?!?!?
