1) These seem to be separated into expendable and non-expendable, with things like medikits and wine being one-shot consumables and others not.
2) Reading has shown that it is possible to transfer the non-expendable items between academy generals as required, but what about tavern or startup generals in conquest mode?
3) If a general is defeated while carrying a non-consumable item, what happens to the item? Is it returned to you for further use? Does it, like the general, become unavailable for the rest of the game and then available in the next? Or is it permanently lost and must be repurchased?
I intend to build up a bit of an armamentarium, but I don't want to make unwise choices or lose expensive things unnecessarily while experimenting.

1.Yes, expendable items tend to be cheaper and more common. 2.No 3.The item just stays with your general in headquarters and you can safely transfer it to another.
