Doing campaign and gather 3300 medals for buy Guderian/Rommel/Patton. One of them should be your first general. Dont waste medals in your cmdrs because its more expensive than buy generals from academys. After buy one of this generals you can go for another tank general or arty like badoglio/govorov. About tech upgrade fortifications is useless. Better upgrade tank/arty/navy tech and unlock antiair missiles. Supply tech is useful too. Good luck

That will be very very hard.. I suggest buy some 3 stars generals and then save for the top generals.

I would recommend you to play some campaigns to get some medals and spend the medals on some cheap good generals as your starting team. You can also play a conquest as a major power country (like Nazi Germany, Great Britain, or the US) in order to get a better understand of game mechanics. A conquest can be a bit hard for a new player but the main goal for now is to try playing around with units and generals, not to win it. You can find out about good generals to start with here, european-war-4.boards.net/thread/226/best-world-conqueror-generals-listAlso, you can save up all medals to buy the best general early but it will be very painful. I did that so I can assure you. I would recommend buying some cheap/good generals first. When you have a lot of medals then you can either promote your current generals to higher rank (to have more HP) or buy new better generals. If you want to promote your generals, here's a link for rank promotion costs. european-war-4.boards.net/thread/282/rank-promotion-costsIf you want to buy end game generals, here's a link of a discussion on everyone's wishlist. european-war-4.boards.net/thread/274/best-6-generals-academiesWhen you buy a better general, you can discard a weaker one for medals refund. You will receive 80% of the medals you spent on the discarded general back. As you progress with the game, you will receive options to build world wonders. Each wonder improves your game play in a different way. For example, Himeji Castle increases your gold receive each round which is very useful. This game is very hard without any boost from wonders. You can think of it as some upgrades. For a list of world wonders and how to unlock them, follow this link, european-war-4.boards.net/thread/224/unlocking-wondersAlso, you can upgrade your troops at your HQ (2nd tab). Here, you can upgrade whatever things you like. Early game, infantry, tank, and artillery upgrades are very useful and air force upgrade will be crucial later on. I find upgrading your troop here is very important. This should get you a healthy start. If you are stuck at some campaign then you can post in War Path section, european-war-4.boards.net/board/9/war-path

Hiya Samantha and welcome to our Easytech fan community. Excellent replies already,I will just add to use long range artillery a lot to eliminate enemy generals and for conquests as the game can really be brutal on new players that have no generals, wonders or technology. If you get stuck or need any info on campaigns or anything else on world conqueror 3 or European war 4 or the rest of Easytech games be sure to post, there are lots of players willing to help

Yeah I do play EW4 but not as much. I've been focusing on WC3. I've spent money (something I've never done) and now I'm just doing conquest. I beat 1939 as Japan (Carriers for the win!!! And paratroopers!! Lol)

The very first thing I did in WC3 was also a conquest as Japan in 1939.

Me three I liked japan flexing its maritime power in the pacific + nicely back-stabbing the russians. That and out of all of the Axis countries it's resonably close to Australia which is a bit of a pain for the other axis countries to reach. But more on topic my suggestion is to spend your money on good generals right away, they help unlock the wonders faster.

Well, I just arbitrarily picked Japan and hoped that it was not too difficult (for my first time).

Japan wasn't too hard but I have to admit america was a pain in the butt they would not give up manila. Russia was easy though

I recommend Finnland 1939 for every new player. Finnland is the easiest for 1939, you just have 1 enemy (USSR) in the beginning and as soon as you defeated them your allies will have taken Europe and Asia so you just have to take the USA and Australia. And as much as I hate it , yes also Brisbane.

I really like that style kanue used in his answer and the mention that several options are possible with the included links. That format can be usefull to new players, goes like: 1st you need to do this, then option A is recommended and here is a link for this, but you can also do option B and here is a link for that. After thats done follow this link... It's basically similar to a technology tree..except it's a help tree with links. Too much Awesomeness
