Available now in the store via Headquarters, the bayonet. 70 medals, infantry attack +1. Worth spending on, or should I just save/load and hope for a better throw? (I currently have no infantry general anyway; the only point to buying it seems to be to set it aside for a rainy day in case it doesn't hang around in the shop for very long. I've noticed the items seem to change around a bit.)

Only items worth buying in early game are War Horse and Snare Drum, both of which can be bought in early campaigns with provided 3* merchants. The Bayonet item is an awful one anyway

Jean-Luc Picard, I thought we bought items from campaign. Don't you normally get at least an 8% discount from campaign due to provided gens there?

You can change your phone-date to refresh the item in HQ shop also, quick way to find most-wanted item ^^!

Just a question that was never clarified to me. What exactly does an item do precisely, by that i mean when it gives you one plus attack how much does it actually give you? Another thought problem is supply, what is it exactly?

We have a output formula that (if you can find where the items come into play) shows how items affect the dmg done. As for supply it acts as extra nobility, but I think just when you don't attack south your general that turn

Another thought problem is supply, what is it exactly? A +damage item does increase the damage output but it is not a flat bonus damage (e.g. +1 dmg item increases dmg by 1). The value from item will be used as one factor in the damage calculation formula. You can find the damage calculation here: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/1368/output-formula-skill-analysis
