Below is the flag countries early data collection for the Home page.
It looks like in about 4 days we collected about 50 countries or so.Not surprisingly many English speaking countries are at the top of the rankings.
If you noticed in the top right the counter is calling Gibraltar the newest country
that's obviously not correct as that is a regional flag not a national flag.It should have said newest "Regional flag".
Anyways,the flag counter is not meant to a super accurate it only record instances of unique IP every 24 hours or so and no it will not solve global warming or eliminate world hunger
but it does gives us over time a pretty good idea as to where most of our players and visitors come from.
About 1/5 of our visitors have heavy privacy setting or use methods to remain anonymous such as VPN or TOR and the like and so either skew the data or just dont accurately show up in the count or are tagged as "others" with no specific origin.
Note also that I have not installed the counter on any other page but the front page so it only tracks data in a very small portion of our forum but the front page of any website usually gives a pretty good picture of what is happening on the rest of the site.
