Hi, I'm new in this games so I didn't actually understand what is the regrouping. I searched in some forums and from them I deduced that the stars, skills and health of one general are added to another, while the first one is sent back to the academy. So, I decided to do this thing. The first general I bought in the beginning was Quosdanovih - 3 stars on Cavalry and 2 on movement. He is a cavalry trainer. His skills were not impressive so I decided to add him some stars. I found a weak general in the academy, I don't remember his name, 2 stars on cavalry, 2 on movement and 1 on infantry, skills - Transport. His cost was about 300 medals. I thought that if I regroup him to Quosdanovih, Quosdanovih will already have 3+2=5 stars on Cavalry, 2+2=4 stars on movement and 0+1=1 stars on infantry. Also Quosdanovih is a trainer. I regrouped but Quasdanovih is still the same, while the other general dissapeared. He didn't even got the star on infantry. The skills are like in the beginning, no Transport. No health added. What happened? Is it a bug, or I didn't understand how does this thing works? I gave away 300 medals. Please, help.

Welcome to the world of ew4! If you regroup a general that has the skill trainer of a unit the into another general, the general gets one more star in the respective unit. For example, Quosdanovih has a skill called cavalry trainer. So if you if you regroup him into a general, the general will have one more cavalry star. Also, as stars can be changed by trainers, you should get generals with good skills as skills cannot be changed. Health was probably not added because the general had low rank and nob.

I think I understand why I didn't achieve a fourth star - I had to regroup Quosdanovih TO the other general while I did the opposite. But I still don't get it why I didn't take the infantry star and are the stars from the 2nd general added or NOT? (it looks like not but still...) P.S. I found the name of the 2nd - Hotze.

The only way stars can be added is if they have the Trainer skill. They can also only be added one at a time. If you have a cavalry general with 1 star and regroup a random general (without trainer) nothing will happen besides some rank and nobility. However, if you regroup a general with the skill Cavalry Trainer, your first general will get a singular extra cav star. There isn't any generals with multiple training skills. Everything can be trained except Training. Which is the little bow and arrow target on the unit hud. Fyi: only the specific star that the academy gen has the skill for is the one that will be added, regardless of his other stars. Still confused about anything?
